TIPS & TRICKS - Laser Fragmentation of Large Bladder Stone
The laser fragmentation of a large bladder stone can be seen here. In the next step, a cystoscope is inserted and a 550-micrometer holmium laser fiber, which is inserted via a ureteric catheter using the settings of 1.5-2 J, 20-30 Hz. After the complete fragmentation of the stone, these fragments are evacuated and washed out.
